The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team and teach a delightful Year 1 class, helping pupils build confidence and develop key skills during this important stage of their primary education.Your new role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Support children as they continue their transition from the Early Years into Key Stage 1.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all children achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with parents, support staff and colleagues to promote pupil success.
• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be passionate about early education and child development.
• Have high expectations for attainment, progress and behaviour.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Be committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
