Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) - daily supply rates available for unsuccessful candidates or prior to contract commencing

Academics are working with a welcoming primary school in the Ellesmere Port area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate KS2 teacher with Upper Key Stage 2 experience to join a supportive school team and make a genuine difference to pupils' learning, confidence and development.

The KS2 Teacher Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Upper Key Stage 2.
• Adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual learning needs and abilities.
• Assess progress and use feedback to support continued development.
• Create a positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and fellow teachers.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2.
• Has ideally taught Year 5.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Can deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire pupils.
• Is committed to inclusive teaching and raising achievement.
• Works well within a team and brings a positive, flexible approach.
