Our client, Barnet Council, is seeking two Social Workers for its Kinship team.

This is a temporary ongoing post.

The role will involve the following:

• Completing all types of Kinship assessments
• Viability assessments
• Special Guardian assessments
• Connected Carer assessments
• Approx 1 day per week in the office + visits to families to complete assessments

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have experience of undertaking kinship assessments as detailed above – this is essential
