We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Chef to join a friendly catering team at a prestigious educational setting in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This opportunity will begin with trial shifts, with the potential for ongoing work through to Christmas for the successful candidate.

Job Details

Position: Chef
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (TN13 area)
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: Trial shift on the 3rd and 4th November 2026
Finish Date: 11th December 2026

Responsibilities

• Supporting the catering team with daily food preparation and service
• Working alongside the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen brigade
• Assisting across various kitchen sections as required
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen

Requirements

• Previous chef experience within a professional kitchen
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Full chef's uniform, including safety shoes
• Valid DBS certificate
• Photographic ID
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
