Financial AdviserThe Role

We are looking for a Financial Adviser to join an established wealth management practice.

The role involves servicing existing clients, developing client relationships and generating new business, with administrative and paraplanning support provided by the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing financial advice to clients.
• Servicing and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Conducting client reviews and ensuring advice remains appropriate.
• Developing new business.
• Following up on leads and client referrals.
• Working alongside the wider team to deliver client services.

What’s on Offer

• An initial allocation of 10–15 clients.
• New clients referred to the business.
• A regular flow of new leads, with the business generating at least one new lead per day.
• Administrative and paraplanning support provided by other members of staff.
• The potential for the business to purchase an additional client bank once the adviser is ready.
• Commission on new business brought into the business with ongoing fees.
• A flexible working arrangement, with two days in the office, subject to business needs.

There are no minimum assets under management requirements and no set new business targets. The focus is on providing a good service to clients and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, through the CII, LIBF or CISI.
• Approximately two to three years’ financial advice experience.
• Competent Adviser Status (CAS), ideally achieved within the last six to twelve months.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A confident, outgoing and proactive approach.
• A client-focused attitude and a commitment to providing a high standard of service.
