Robert Half are recruiting for a Management Accountant for a Havant based business on a temporary basis.

This role would ideally be office-based.

This role may be either full-time or part-time, office based.

We can be flexible regarding hours, although the individual will need to spend time in the office to support system processes and knowledge transfer.

To strengthen month-end, statutory and compliance accounting processes, ensuring that financial reporting, reconciliations and regulatory returns are completed accurately and on time.

• Support and deliver month-end close processes and reporting timetables.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile daily income and deferred income balances.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, including Capital Goods Scheme (CGS) tracking and adjustments, and review VAT journals.
• Reconcile the fixed asset register to the balance sheet.
• Prepare customer invoices and support credit control processes where required.

Work collaboratively with the finance team, senior leadership team and other departments across the organisation
