Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Provide tax compliance services and advice to a diverse portfolio, including family companies, small businesses, and private individuals.
• Manage a portfolio of personal and company clients, preparing and submitting tax returns, and handling statutory deadlines and other compliance matters.
• Review tax returns prepared by other team members.
• Engage in complex tax planning and advisory work.
• Handle ad hoc client queries and provide timely and effective responses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Income Tax, Corporation Tax, and Capital Gains Tax; experience with Inheritance Tax and VAT is preferable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients from various backgrounds, both verbally and in writing.
• Proactive in taking on additional responsibilities and tasks, including tax research and drafting tax advice.
• Strong relationship-building skills with both team members and clients.
• Up-to-date tax technical knowledge and a commitment to staying informed on legislative changes.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
