Benefits: Starting salary up to £42,423 per annum, dependent on experience Optional overtime paid at time-and-a-half Use of a fully-equipped company van 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Long-term career development within one of the UK’s top roadworks recovery firms Weekly rotational shift pattern: week 1 (7:00am-3:30pm), week 2 (8:00am-4:30pm), Monday to FridayDuties as a HGV Technician: Conduct detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on HGVs, trailers, and fleet equipment Carry out planned maintenance and repairs at client sites, avoiding emergency call-outs Support workshop operations with repairs and routine maintenance Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and service documentation Follow health and safety standards both on-site and within the workshop environmentRequirements: Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or similar At least several years of practical post-qualification experience as an HGV Technician Strong team player with a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment Valid UK driving licence with minimal points; a Class 1 or 2 HGV licence is advantageous but not mandatory Good attention to detail and motivated to meet targetsThis role provides the variety of mobile and workshop work without the disruption of emergency roadside tasks, ideal for HGV Technicians who enjoy diverse tasks in a supportive team environment.
