Assistant Management Accountant - Coventry / Hybrid - £40,000 - £45,000

9 Month Fixed Term Contract

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in this diverse role, focussing on supporting the preparation of Management Accounts, maintain the fixed assets register, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and other areas where required. The role is for an initial 9 month contract, but there is potential for extension.

Key Areas of the Role:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow
• Allocating accrued and deferred revenue
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Posting journals, prepayments and accruals
• KPI analysis
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting
• Assisting with VAT returns
• Working on Excel
• Finance projects as required
