As an established regional law firm in Tunbridge Wells, our client is continuing to grow and is looking for a Residential Property Fee Earner to join its expanding property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive to become part of a firm that values quality of service, strong client relationships and a practical, personal approach to property law.

The role

You will manage a varied residential property caseload, advising clients throughout their property transactions and ensuring matters progress smoothly, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

Your work will include:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Remortgages and transfers of equity
• General residential property advice
• Managing registrations, SDLT payments, billing and file closures
• Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance and file management
• Supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge and providing cover where needed
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the department

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your matters while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

About you

We are keen to hear from a motivated and personable legal professional who combines sound technical knowledge with a genuine commitment to client service.

You will ideally have:

• Newly Qualified to 3 years’ PQE, although Licensed Conveyancers and Legal Executives will also be considered
• Experience handling residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Excellent attention to detail and a sound understanding of conveyancing procedures and compliance
• Strong communication, organisation and client relationship skills
• A commercial mindset and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment
• A willingness to participate in networking and business development activities and help grow the department

You will also be comfortable working within the firm's professional and regulatory frameworks, including SRA requirements, anti-money laundering procedures, CQS standards and relevant lender requirements. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is essential.
