An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a busy and friendly business based in West Malling on a temporary basis. This flexible part-time role offers 20-22 hours per week, which can be worked across either three full days or spread over five shorter days.

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with previous finance experience and knowledge of Xero who can hit the ground running and support the day-to-day finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices
• Managing finance email queries
• Posting customer receipts
• Carrying out credit control activities, including issuing statements and payment reminders
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Experience using Xero accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
