Your role
SJC Partners are recruiting an experienced Conveyancer for a well-established law firm’s growing Residential Property team in Birmingham.
You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload within a professional, approachable team that values quality client care and long-term relationships. The firm prioritises a personal service over a high-volume conveyancing model, with strong team support and opportunities to develop your career.

What you’ll do

• Manage sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold matters from instruction through to completion.
• Keep clients informed throughout their transactions.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
• Progress files efficiently using a case management system.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, AML procedures and firm policies.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts.

What you’ll need
Previous experience independently managing residential conveyancing files is essential.
Applications are welcome from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, CILEX Legal Executives and experienced Residential Property Fee Earners.
You’ll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a client-focused approach, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
