Academics are recruiting a Level 3 Childcare Assistant in Havering to support a large primary school, helping pupils develop their confidence, build important skills and get the most out of their learning.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
• Supporting engaging activities that encourage curiosity and a love of learning.
• Working closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Providing encouragement and guidance to help children reach their potential.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you'll hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Assistant studies and have experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting.

However, experienced candidates with a Level 2 qualification will also be considered if they can demonstrate the right skills, attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
