MBF are working with an established, independently owned Wealth Management business in Meriden to recruit an experienced Administrator.

This is an opportunity to join a boutique firm with a history spanning more than five decades, combining personalised Financial Planning with its own Investment Management expertise.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Wealth Administration Manager, you will provide comprehensive support to Financial Planners and work closely with the Paraplanning team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing client review packs and meeting documentation.
• Completing post-meeting actions and keeping outstanding work on track.
• Liaising with clients, providers and colleagues.
• Managing Letters of Authority and obtaining policy information.
• Processing new business, including pension transfers, ISA contributions and fund switches.
• Working across external platforms and the firm’s in-house discretionary investment proposition.
• Preparing suitability letters following client meetings.
• Maintaining accurate client records and managing diary reminders.

About you

You will ideally have at least two to three years’ administration experience within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment, with a good understanding of pensions, investments and protection.

Strong organisation, attention to detail and confident communication skills are important, alongside the ability to take ownership of your workload and work closely with colleagues.

The firm is particularly interested in people who enjoy administration and client support and want to continue building their expertise within this area.

Professional qualifications are welcomed but are not essential. Training will be provided to address gaps in product or provider knowledge, and study and financial support are available for relevant exams where there is a business need.

• Basic salary of £28,000–£33,000, with some scope above this for a standout candidate.
