This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a significant impact in the educational journey of students with various additional needs.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

• Job Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
• Location: Surrey
• Annual Salary: £26,592.45 (FTE)
• Hours: 37 hours per week, 37 weeks per year.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support across various curriculum areas, helping students enhance their reading, writing, and maths skills.
• Support learners during examinations and maintain accurate records of the support provided.
• Work closely with students who have diverse needs, including dyslexia, autism, and physical or sensory impairments, to facilitate their learning and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• English and Maths at Level 2/ equivalent
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• A good understanding of Additional Learning Support (ALS).
• An LSA qualification is preferred, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
