Your new role
Working within a finance team of four and reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Manage day-to-day invoice processing and supplier queries.
• Coordinate payment runs and maintain appropriate financial controls.
• Support month-end close and management reporting.
• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
• Prepare/post journals including accruals, prepayments and payroll.
• Complete key bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Keep accounting records and fixed asset information accurate.
• Support multi-entity group reporting and intercompany accounting.
• Assist with audit requests.
• Play a key part in ongoing finance process improvements and automations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Management Accountant role
• You will be an active studier working towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
• End-to-end Accounts Payable experience is essential, and you must be willing to undertake the AP responsibilities as part of your day-to-day role
• Previous experience working with manual processes
• Ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision
• Immediate availability or a short notice period, in order to facilitate handover
• NetSuite system experience is highly advantageous (but not essential)
• A collaborative working style
