SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Handsworth, Birmingham B21 Daily Rate: £(Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term temporary Long Term Futures is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the inclusion team at a welcoming primary school in Handsworth. You'll work closely with teachers, the SENCO and other support staff to help pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) access learning, develop independence and thrive in the classroom. In this role, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with EHCPs. Implement individual learning targets and SEN support strategies. Support children with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and additional learning needs. Work alongside the inclusion team to create a positive, supportive learning environment. Monitor pupil progress and encourage confidence and independence.You'll need: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting. Good understanding of EHCPs and individual support plans. A patient, nurturing and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
