Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer £45,000 - £80,000 Kent or Cambridge  I am working with a medium sized building services consultancy that is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team. The opportunity will be open to Engineers who can either commute to the Kent office (once a week) or to the Cambridge office (three times a week). Drawing on a sound knowledge of electrical building services, the successful candidate will help move multiple projects forward, from schematics through to engineering calculations, all delivered to agreed timescales. What the role involves Producing schematics, elevations and details in AutoCAD and Revit that meet engineering directives, UK standards, CDM regulations and the company’s drawing and quality procedures Producing and checking engineering calculations Supporting the team with project checks and reviews, resolving issues to keep projects on time and to a high standard Co-ordinating drawings, CAD and Revit models with other disciplines Working with process owners to review and improve the design process Keeping up to date with British Standards, industry guides and approved documents Responding clearly and accurately to design team and contractor queries, including RFIs and technical submissions, using approved products Providing support and line management to the electrical team Keeping projects within budget, managing team workload to meet schedules and flagging when additional fees are appropriate Maintaining regular progress conversations with the Team LeaderAbout you A sound knowledge of electrical building services Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Confidence producing and checking engineering calculations Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients and the wider design team A commitment to professional development, with support to work towards professional accreditationInterested?
