The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised freight across Southampton and surrounding areas.

Key Duties:

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods
• Typically 12-16 deliveries/collections per day
• Operating a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports
• Using handheld devices to capture delivery information and PODs
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Liaising with the transport office throughout the day

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Driver CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card

Good driving record (ideally no more than 6 points)

Positive and professional attitude

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Pallet network or multi-drop experience desirable but not essential
