phere Solutions are currently recruiting an experienced No.1 Senior Site Manager for a £7 million new-build commercial warehouse and critical infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity for a freelance Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a technically challenging construction project, involving steel frame construction, foundations, reinforced concrete floors and roof, rainscreen cladding and secure internal fit-out. The project will accommodate critical network infrastructure, including control room facilities, so experience working in sensitive or secure environments, such as MOD, defence or other restricted-access projects, would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities * Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project as No.1 Site Manager. * Manage all site operations, subcontractors, labour and materials. * Oversee groundworks, foundations, steel frame erection, reinforced concrete floors and roof, rainscreen cladding and internal fit-out. * Coordinate the construction programme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. * Maintain excellent health and safety standards across the site. * Manage site documentation, inspections, quality assurance and progress reporting. * Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and other key stakeholders. * Coordinate secure internal works and ensure compliance with relevant site procedures. Requirements * Valid SMSTS certificate. * Valid CSCS card. * In-date First Aid certificate. * Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or No.1 Site Manager on large commercial or industrial construction projects. * Strong knowledge of steel frame construction, reinforced concrete, cladding and internal fit-out. * Experience working on sensitive, secure or critical infrastructure projects would be advantageous. * Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
