Pertemps South Midlands driving hub are recruiting 2 experienced HGV1 Drivers (Nights Out) for our client based in Milton Keynes. If your idea of a good shift is covering some miles, parking up for the night and not being mistaken for a warehouse operative, you'll fit right in here.
THE IMPORTANT BITS Milton Keynes Monday to Friday 07:00 Starts 1-4 Nights Out Per Week £22.00 Per Hour £25.00 Night out allowance Weekly Pay or monthly pay No Handball Long Distance Runs Immediate Start Available Ongoing Work Keep the same vehicle.
WHAT'S THE JOB? This is proper driving work. You'll be completing business-to-business deliveries across the UK, typically making 2-3 drops per day. No store deliveries. No dragging pallets around. No turning up expecting to drive and ending up auditioning for Britain's Strongest Man. Just straightforward HGV1 work, long-distance runs and nights out.
Your Typical Week: 2-3 deliveries per day Long-distance runs 1-4 nights out per week Monday to Friday working pattern Average 9-hour shifts Plenty of motorway miles

WHAT YOU'LL NEED Valid HGV1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' HGV1 experience Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations No more than 6 penalty points Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude Happy with regular nights out
