What it's like to work here

You'll be part of a team that covers the South West primarily working out of the Killerton Hub, near Exeter.

We're looking for someone with a strong administrative skillset, able to turn their hand to whatever comes their way – whether it’s helping an archaeologist with archiving, responding to enquiries, or inducting new team members, you’ll want to help others and get involved.

What you'll be doing

As well as supporting day-to-day operations, you’ll have the chance to work with a variety of specialists and project managers and offer your advice beyond your team. Good IT skills are an advantage.

You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business administration, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.

  • good at communicating, both in writing and speaking
  • able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative
  • flexible and focused on people
  • happy to multi-task and manage your own priorities and workload
