CNC Mill/Turn Setter & Operator 📍 Poole, Dorset 💷 £18.00 per hour + 30% Night Shift Enhancement (£47,455 OTE) 🌙 Night Shift ⏰ 39 Hours Per Week 🏖️ 25 Days Holiday Bowmill is currently seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter & Operator to join their manufacturing team in Poole. The Role * Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathes using FANUC controls * Manufacture precision components to customer drawings and specifications * Inspect your own work to drawing and SPC requirements * Ensure components meet quality, tolerance and customer requirements * Maintain a high standard of engineering workmanship * Follow company quality, health and safety procedures * Maintain your work area to a high standard of 5S housekeeping What We're Looking For * Proven experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines * Strong working knowledge of FANUC controls * Experience within the aerospace industry is highly desirable * Ability to inspect your own work using a range of measuring equipment * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances * Completed Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship preferred * Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feeders would be advantageous but is not essential * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Working Hours * Night shift core hours: 8:00pm - 3:00am * Shift start times cannot be earlier than 4:00pm * 39 hours per week * Flexible working arrangements available within business requirements What's On Offer? 🚀 Opportunity to join a highly regarded aerospace engineering business 💰 30% night shift enhancement 📈 Stable, long-term career opportunity 🔧 Work with modern CNC machinery and high-precision aerospace components 🏖️ 25 days holiday plus overtime opportunities ⚠️ Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be nationals of NATO member countries
