Tax Manager

Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its friendly and highly regarded team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Reviewing and preparing personal tax returns and corporation tax computations
• Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and compliance matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting partners with complex tax projects and advisory work
• Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members
• Ensuring tax deadlines and compliance requirements are met

About You

• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of personal tax, corporate tax, or mixed tax
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Ambitious and keen to progress your career
