RTA LITIGATION EXECUTIVE/SOLICITOR

We are currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join our clients flourishing RTA department. The successful candidate will ideally have 2+ years experience of dealing with Litigated RTA cases.

You will handle a cradle-to-grave caseload, dealing with litigated matters to trial. As such, you must be a confident litigator with a strong understanding of the litigation process. The caseload will be a mix of high quality FT and MT cases.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of RTA claims from cradle to grave
• Conducting thorough legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients
• Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court where necessary
• Working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure successful case outcomes
• Keeping up to date with relevant legal developments and regulatory changes

Person Specification

• Proven billing track record handling a litigated caseload from cradle to grave
• Demonstrable tenacity and drive
• Strong focus on progressing cases through litigation to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
• Experience handling Litigated RTA cases
• Sound knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, relevant case law, and litigation trends, with the ability to apply these effectively
• Previous experience using the Proclaim case management system is advantageous
