You will be joining a well-established organisation supporting a number of sites across South East London and Kent. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative HR team in a varied, hands-on HR Officer role and would suit a Human Resources or Recruitment Administrator, Coordinator or Officer.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide operational HR support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks and contracts.
• Maintaining accurate HR records, systems and employee documentation.
• Providing first-line support on HR queries and employee relations matters.
• Supporting absence, family leave, probation, contractual changes and leavers.
• Preparing accurate monthly payroll information including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
• Supporting HR reporting, compliance, safer recruitment and audit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous HR administration / HR Officer experience.
• A good working knowledge of HR processes and employment law.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence handling HR queries and sensitive information.
• Experience within education, the public sector or a multi-site environment would be advantageous.
• CIPD Level 3/5 or working towards this would be desirable.
