Your new role
As a Site Manager, you'll be working on a major substation infrastructure project within a highly regulated environment, taking responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of construction activities on site. Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain productivity and achieve key project milestones
• Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements, promoting a positive safety culture across the project
• Monitoring site progress, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions to minimise delays and maximise performance
• Managing site documentation, permits, inspections, and reporting requirements to ensure project compliance
• Working closely with the engineering, commercial, and project management teams to support successful project delivery

What you'll need to succeed - You must have SR 163 National Grid Authorisation.

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on major infrastructure, power, utilities, civil engineering - experience within power, transmission & distribution, substations, renewable energy, or other regulated infrastructure environments would be highly advantageous
• A strong track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities within a live construction environment
• Experience delivering projects safely whilst maintaining programme targets, quality standards, and environmental compliance
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with site teams, clients, and key stakeholders
• Relevant site management qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
