We are recruiting for a Panel Beater / MET Technician to join our manufacturer-approved, family-run bodyshop in Royal Wootton Bassett. Excellent long-term career prospects within an established bodyshop. 42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.Duties: The successful Panel Beater / MET Technician will report to the Bodyshop Manager and work as part of a friendly, experienced team. Carry out high-quality body repairs on a range of vehicles. Remove and refit panels, doors, trims and associated components. Repair or replace damaged panels in line with manufacturer standards. Complete all repairs within agreed timescales and to the required quality. Work efficiently with colleagues to meet workshop deadlines. Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.Requirements: Previous experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician, Vehicle Panel Technician or MET/Strip Fit Technician. Formal qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable, although strong practical experience will be considered. To succeed as a Panel Beater / MET Technician, you must work to meticulous standards and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. A reliable team player with effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
