Plumber/ Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £36,000 per annum Location: South Coast – Chichester to Southampton About the Role We are looking for a reliable, experienced and enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing maintenance team on our MOD Housing contract. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in plumbing, alongside a broad range of general maintenance and repair abilities. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance across a variety of properties. We maintain approx. 4000 properties along the south coast, from Chichester through Portsmouth to Southampton. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out general plumbing repairs. * Undertaking general property maintenance and repairs. * Completing minor carpentry, filling, sealing and finishing work. * Painting and decorating repairs to a high professional standard. * Complete small plaster/ fill repairs. * Keeping families informed of next steps. * Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard. * Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional working environment. * Working with a scheduler to organise your daily diary. * Adhere to contract requirement for PPE usage. We are looking for someone who: * Has proven experience in plumbing. * Has a broad range of general maintenance and repair skills. * Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and a professional finish. * Is practical, organised and able to work independently. * Has good problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude. * Is reliable, punctual and professional when dealing with clients and customers. * Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling throughout the working area.
