NQ Private Client Solicitor – Legal 500 Law Firm, Tamworth

A highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Tamworth is seeking an NQ Private Client Solicitor to join its well-established and award-winning Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to develop their career within a respected firm, handling a varied caseload and delivering high-quality, tailored legal advice to a diverse client base.

You will play an integral role in the continued growth of the department, providing a professional, empathetic, and commercially aware service to clients whilst developing your technical expertise and professional relationships.

This private client solicitor role will involve:

• Advising clients on Wills, estate planning, and lifetime tax planning.
• Assisting with the administration of estates, including probate applications and inheritance tax matters.
• Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Assisting with Court of Protection matters.
• Advising on the creation, administration, and management of trusts.
• Supporting clients with succession planning and wealth preservation.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Private Client law.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering an excellent standard of client care.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell services and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Private Client department and wider firm.
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the department.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Experience

• Newly qualified Solicitor with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Private Client law.
• Experience gained during a training seat or previous role in Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, or Private Client matters.
• A sound understanding of the principles of Wills, Trusts, Probate, and estate planning.
• A genuine enthusiasm for developing technical expertise and building a career within Private Client.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to establish positive professional relationships.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
