A modern, top-tier Legal 500 practice with over 25 years’ expertise in debt recovery litigation is expanding its Finance Recoveries Team in Liverpool or Wigan. Following continued growth and the acquisition of several blue-chip clients, the firm is seeking a Solicitor or experienced Litigator to join its specialist team.

• Finance: Acting for a wide range of lenders, from SMEs to major UK credit and car finance providers.
• Local Authority: Supporting 85 councils across England & Wales with business rates, council tax recovery, and complex advisory matters.

The Role

You will join a busy and supportive Finance Recoveries team, handling a varied caseload of commercial litigation and debt recovery matters. The role offers excellent exposure to complex, litigated work and strong progression opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

You will bring:

• Experience in commercial litigation
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
• Experience in debt recovery and enforcement methods
• Ability to manage deadlines and a diverse caseload
• Experience leading or supporting complex, litigated matters
• Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
