Large PE-Backed Business | PermanentAre you an experienced Accounts Payable professional ready to take the next step into a supervisory role?We're recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a large, fast-paced, PE-backed organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the AP function while supporting and developing the wider team.
Daily duties:

• Supervise and support the day-to-day Accounts Payable team
• Oversee high-volume invoice processing and supplier payments
• Ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved and processed within agreed timescales
• Manage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve complex queries
• Support payment runs and cash management processes
• Monitor team workloads, performance and AP KPIs
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls and efficiency
• Support month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Assist with wider finance transformation and improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have strong Accounts Payable experience, ideally gained within a large or high-volume environment, with previous supervisory, team leader or senior AP experience.You'll be confident managing competing priorities, resolving complex queries and supporting a team through periods of growth and change.We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in improving processes.
