QED Legal's client is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its Private Client team in York.
This is an opportunity to develop your experience across wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, tax and trusts, working with clients through some of life's most important decisions.
You'll be involved in drafting legal documents, progressing estate administration, investigating assets and liabilities, preparing probate applications and assisting with relevant HMRC submissions. You'll also develop your client-facing skills, learning to explain legal issues clearly and sensitively while building the confidence to manage matters effectively.
You'll work alongside experienced colleagues, with the opportunity to strengthen your technical knowledge and take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows. Good organisation, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to client care will be important, as will the ability to work collaboratively and manage your workload sensibly.
The firm is looking for someone with a sound grounding in private client law, a proactive approach and the motivation to build a long-term career in the discipline.
