Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for a part-time opportunity in Solihull?We are working with a secondary academy in the Solihull area that is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work 3 days per week, supporting students to engage positively with their learning and make progress in the classroom.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide support to students within the classroom
• Work alongside teachers to help pupils access lessons and learning activities
• Provide individual and small-group support where required
• Help students remain engaged, focused and confident in their learning
• Support positive behaviour and encourage independence
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

About YouWe would be interested in hearing from applicants who:

• Have previous experience supporting young people in a school or educational setting
• Are patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships with students
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can confidently work alongside teaching and pastoral staff
• Are reliable and committed to working 3 days per week
• Have a genuine interest in supporting young people's education and development
