Maintenance Technician Location: North East Contract: 12 Months Job Type: Full Time, Onsite, Monday to Friday Days PM Group are seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Technician to support a pharmaceuticals client based in the North East. In this role you will oversee mechanical & utilities maintenance activities within a highly regulated GMP environment. Key Responsibilities: * Maintenance Programme Development: Developing PMs, maintenance plans and task lists for site utility systems, whilst creating SOPs and other maintenance procedures. * Commissioning & Qualification: Participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning activities, ensuring all maintainability requirements are integrated before handover to operations. * Technical Support: Provide reactive and proactive maintenance support for mechanical and utility systems across site. * Systems Ownership: Overseeing maintenance work on site HVAC mechanical equipment, water/steam generation and distribution, compressed air systems, pumps, valves and pipework systems, LEV, heat exchangers and more. Key Requirements: * HNC/HND mechanical engineering or equivalent experience is essential * Experience within GMP, pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments is essential. * Experience of SAP PM or equivalent CMMS is advantageous. * Commutable to Northumberland area
