Position: Specialist One-to-One Tutor

Provide Education That Makes a Difference

Remedy Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors to work individually with children and young people who require additional educational support.

Students may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, social communication difficulties or social, emotional and mental health needs. Some may have experienced disrupted education or struggle to access a mainstream classroom.

You will deliver personalised tuition, helping students strengthen their academic skills and develop confidence in learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach both Maths and English.

• Deliver structured one-to-one lessons.

• Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities.

• Support students who experience difficulties with concentration, communication or engagement.

• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.

• Review progress and work towards learning goals.

Requirements

• Ability to teach Maths and English is essential.

• SEN/SEND or SEMH experience is desirable.

• Patient, understanding and adaptable teaching style.

• Ability to motivate and engage young people.
