Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

£45,000 to £55,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

A growing tax team at a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Stockport is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to work alongside managers and partners on a varied corporate portfolio.

What's the day to day of the role:

• Supporting corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery across a varied client portfolio
• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations to a high standard
• Advising on corporation tax, group structures and reorganisations under senior guidance
• Building and maintaining client relationships as a trusted point of contact
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and communicating recommendations clearly
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the corporate tax team

Required skills and qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a solid corporate tax background gained in practice
• At least four years' experience within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory work across a range of clients
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and current developments
• Confident client facing manner, commercially minded, with the ambition to progress
