Senior Salmon is recruiting Warehouse Operatives, Order Pickers and FLT Drivers on behalf of our client in Chesterfield. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation. These are excellent opportunities for candidates with warehouse experience, particularly those holding a valid Reach Truck licence. The roles are primarily focused on afternoon and late shifts, making them ideal for candidates looking for consistent weekday working hours. Job Roles Available - Warehouse Operatives - Order Pickers - FLT Drivers Working Hours The main shifts available are: - 12:00pm – 8:00pm - 2:00pm – 10:00pm Candidates must be flexible and able to commit to their agreed shift pattern. Pay Rates - £12.86 – £14.31 per hour, depending on experience and licence held. - Overtime paid at 1.25x the standard hourly rate. FLT Licences Accepted We are particularly interested in candidates holding a valid Reach Truck licence, although the following licences will also be considered: - Reach Truck – essential for the main FLT requirements - Counterbalance - PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Candidates with multiple licences and recent warehouse experience will be particularly welcome. Key Responsibilities - Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently. - Operating FLT equipment safely to move and replenish stock. - Loading, unloading and moving goods around the warehouse. - Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to record stock movements. - Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are handled correctly. - Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. - Following all company health and safety procedures. - Supporting general warehouse duties as required. What We're Looking For -Previous warehouse, order-picking or FLT experience. -A valid FLT licence relevant to the position. -Good attention to detail and accuracy. -A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude. -The ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Flexibility to work afternoon or late shifts.
