Electrical Maintenance Engineer Blackburn Area £48,200 Monday to Friday Days Pension employer contribution 8.5% Our leading manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Multi Skilled Electrical engineer to join there team. You will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on production equipment * Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production * Repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical elements of the plant * Fault-find and resolve recurring machinery issues * Support the development and improvement of planned maintenance systems * Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard * Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues Ideal Candidate: * Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 HNC/ ONC/ HND / or equivalent * Strong electrical maintenance background * Experience working within a FMCG environment * Extrusion, blow moulding and injection moulding advantageous but not essential * PLCs and drives preferred but not essential * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards Multi Skilled Engineer / Multiskilled mechanical Engineer / Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Team Leader / shift engineer" Blackburn / Burnley / Bolton / Sawley / Preston / Chorley / Bury / Middleton
