Trident Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC and/or Manual Turner to join a long-established manufacturing company in Clevedon. Working within a small, friendly team of skilled engineers, you will produce one-off components and small batches for a varied customer base. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work and takes pride in producing quality parts. The workshop offers a traditional engineering environment with a relaxed, professional and inclusive atmosphere. You will have the freedom to use your initiative, with experienced colleagues available to provide support. The Role: * Set, operate and programme CNC lathes using ProtoTRAK, Fanuc or Siemens controls, and/or work on manual turning machines. * Manufacture components accurately to engineering drawings. * Carry out first-off inspection to ensure parts meet drawing requirements. * Work independently and contribute to a supportive team. About You: * Experienced in CNC turning, manual turning or both. * Confident reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment. * Able to produce accurate components with strong attention to detail. * Reliable, practical and comfortable using your own initiative. Experience with one or more of the listed controls is welcomed; training can be provided to develop your skills further. What’s on Offer: * From £21 per hour, depending on experience. * Overtime paid at time and a half, when available. * 34 or 39-hour working week, with flexibility around core hours. * 12 noon finish on Fridays. * 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. * Summer and Christmas bonuses. * Training and ongoing skills development. * A stable, long-term opportunity with a friendly, established business.
