Wetroom Fitter

• Location: Bolton
• Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am starts)
• Salary: £25 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Wetroom Fitter to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves carrying out all aspects of multi-skilled plumbing work related to repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment in council homes and public buildings managed by Bury Council. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality service delivery and customer care in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Remove existing bathrooms and alter all pipework as necessary.
• Fit level deck trays to both wood and concrete floors.
• Perform patch plastering and Dot & Dab to walls.
• Conduct minor joinery tasks.
• Tile areas up to 10sqm to a high standard.
• Carry out floor screening.
• Drive to various sites, requiring the use of your own vehicle.
• Undertake all plumbing and relevant multi-skilled works as directed.
• Operate and maintain all issued plant and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Use IT systems (PDA’s or iPad) to update documentation accurately and in real time.
• Adhere to Bury Council’s Health and Safety Policies and ensure compliance with risk assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Wetroom Fitter or similar role.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to follow all safety guidelines at all times.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures and material management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
