Part-Time Bookkeeper / Administrator Location: Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire Hours: 2-3 hours per day, 2-3 days per week (flexible) Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for a reliable and organised Bookkeeper / Administrator to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our business in Stanstead Abbots. What We Offer  Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 Accounts  Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and credit notes  Manage supplier statements and reconcile accounts  Bank reconciliations and cashbook management  Prepare payment runs and supplier payments  Assist with VAT returns and financial reporting  Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with external accountants  General office administration and filing  Data entry and record management  Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence  Maintaining customer and supplier records  Preparing spreadsheets, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office  Supporting management with ad-hoc administrative tasks Desired Skills & Experience  Proven bookkeeping experience  Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts (essential)  Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy  Strong organisational and time-management skills  Ability to work independently and manage priorities  Good communication skills and professional manner What We Offer  Flexible working hours  Friendly and supportive office environment  Opportunity to broaden responsibilities over time  Potential for increased hours as the business grows
