Audit Senior – Canterbury

Joining as an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit clients, from owner managed businesses to larger and more complex organisations. You will work closely with Managers and Partners, supervise Juniors on engagements, and gain the exposure and responsibility you need to progress towards Audit Supervisor and Manager level.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments from start to finish
• Review the work of Audit Juniors and provide coaching and feedback
• Prepare audit files and financial statements in line with UK GAAP and ISAs
• Act as a day to day point of contact for clients
• Support Managers and Partners with reporting and budgets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified, or part qualified
• Sound technical knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs
• Proven experience leading audit fieldwork
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
