Accounts Assistant 4-Month Contract

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a four-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their finance experience within a collaborative and fast-paced business environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and would suit a motivated individual keen to progress their finance career.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices

Raising and posting sales invoices Posting bank receipts and payments

Processing petty cash transactions

Completing bank and credit card reconciliations

Supporting the wider finance team with daily accounting duties

Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as required

About You

1-2 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable or similar finance role

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Good communication and IT skills

Studying towards, or interested in pursuing, AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications Organised, proactive and keen to develop a long-term career in finance

Able to start at short notice
