• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning
• Working with individual pupils or small groups
• Helping children who need additional support with their learning
• Supporting pupils with SEND
• Helping pupils to stay engaged, focused and confident in the classroom
• Preparing classroom resources and activities
• Supporting positive behaviour and routines
• Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

Who am I looking for?You might already be an experienced Teaching Assistant, or perhaps you have experience working with children or young people in another setting.Above everything else, schools need people who are:

• Patient, reliable and approachable
• Confident building relationships with children
• Calm when things don't quite go to plan
• Happy to get involved and support wherever needed
• Able to work well as part of a school team
• Genuinely interested in helping pupils make progress
