An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Setter / Operator to join a successful and growing manufacturing company based in the Four Marks/Alton area.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, predominantly lathes, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards.

Key duties include:

• Setting and operating CNC machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Inspecting completed work
• De-burring and linishing components
• Wire brushing finished products
• Manual turning and milling
• Goods-in duties, including some heavy lifting
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous CNC setting and operating experience
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Keen interest in engineering and manufacturing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• TIG welding experience advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
