We are recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our established automotive business, covering Staffordshire and the West Midlands from a home-based location around Stoke-on-Trent. This Mobile Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity to work with hire and leasing companies, servicing predominantly light commercial vehicles alongside cars. Benefits: £38,000 basic salary, rising once established Uncapped bonus, averaging approximately £600 per month, with OTE of £48,000 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays Company van, fuel card, tablet and mobile phone provided Private healthcare plans Home-based working, starting and finishing from home 40-hour working week, approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm Optional overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rateDuties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician: Work as a Mobile Vehicle Technician at customer sites, including workshops, warehouses and outdoor locations Service and repair cars and light commercial vehicles for hire and leasing customers Manage your own bookings and diary using the company app Review upcoming jobs, identify required parts and arrange deliveries to your home Plan travel efficiently to minimise unnecessary mileage Complete accurate work while maintaining high standards of customer service Operate independently while contributing effectively to the wider teamRequirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician: IMI or NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician Previous mobile experience is highly beneficial Full UK driving licence with minimal points Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload Adaptability when working in workshops, warehouses and outdoor environmentsWe are looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician who can deliver dependable repairs, manage customer bookings effectively and maintain high standards across every assignment.
