• Attending design handover meetings and helping to define project design briefs.
• Collaborating with Sales, Estimating, Project Management and other departments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing drawing revisions and coordinating design changes as projects evolve.
• Identifying and resolving technical interfaces with surrounding structures and trades.
• Supporting BIM requirements and ensuring project information is delivered to programme.
• Attending design review meetings and contributing to the delivery of cost-effective and practical solutions.
• Undertaking drawing checks and providing technical support to colleagues where required.
• Visiting project sites to review conditions and carry out surveys when necessary.
• Representing Optima at project meetings, interviews and presentations.

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from organised, proactive and detail-oriented individuals who can confidently manage multiple projects and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience producing technical drawings and design information within a construction, interiors or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and 3D modelling software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to interpret technical information and develop practical design solutions.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The confidence to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and external consultants.
