A Japanese IT services company is currently recruiting an experienced IT Sales professional to join its London team.

This is a full-cycle sales role where you will manage and grow a portfolio of accounts while developing new business. You will work directly with customers to understand their business challenges, translate their needs into IT requirements, and work with technical teams to develop tailored solutions.

The role offers the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships and work with engineers and colleagues across multiple European locations and Japan.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while developing new business opportunities
• Build a deep understanding of customers' business operations, objectives, and challenges
• Develop account plans, identify opportunities, and lead negotiations through to contract signature
• Understand customer business problems and develop tailored IT solutions with technical teams
• Prepare and present proposals covering solutions, costs, and commercial considerations
• Lead account teams across sales and engineering and coordinate with vendors, partners, and colleagues in other countries
• Manage sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and long-term account development

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' experience in B2B IT sales with responsibility for your own accounts and sales targets
• Proven experience opening new accounts as well as developing existing customers
• Working knowledge of network, security, or cloud infrastructure services
• Experience selling solutions to organisations with multiple decision-makers and international headquarters
• Experience working closely with engineers throughout the sales process
• Strong proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Business-level Japanese and fluent English
• Experience with Japanese-affiliated companies is advantageous

Conditions

• Location: London
• Working Style: office based
• Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:30
• Start: negotiable
