We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a specialist marine engineering and boatbuilding business delivering new vessel build projects for commercial, government and specialist customers.
Working within the New Build team, the Project Engineer acts as the technical link between design, production and project delivery, ensuring vessel systems are practical, buildable and successfully integrated throughout the build process.
This is a hands-on engineering role and would suit someone who enjoys being actively involved in vessel construction rather than working purely from drawings or project plans. Working closely with the Technical Manager, production teams and wider project stakeholders, you will support the installation, integration, testing and commissioning of vessel systems while resolving technical challenges as they arise.
Permanent & Contract Opportunities
The client is ideally seeking a permanent hire and offers a salary of £35,000-£55,000, depending on experience and level (Open to Juniors and Seniors)
However, experienced contractors with relevant marine, vessel build or systems integration experience are also encouraged to apply. Contract terms and rates will be discussed based on individual experience and availability.

Provide technical engineering support across vessel build projects.
Act as the engineering interface between Design, Production and Project Management teams.
Review customer specifications, drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
